More and more families are opting for a Fresh 48 newborn photoshoot as opposed to an in-home or in-studio posed newborn session. These laid-back sessions take place in your birth space just hours after baby is born!

I personally LOVE these sessions! I actually used to work as an in-house hospital photographer for a third party company – solely offering Fresh 48s! That job was all sales (aka NOT for me) but gave me invaluable experience with a) working with ALL types of families, b) entering such a sacred time/space c) and handling the high emotions and delicacy of working with brand new life!

These sessions are so raw and real. No fancy make up or attire required! I love capturing there new wrinkly skin, little yawns, and the awe-struck look in your (tired) eyes.
