Good news, friends! Photographers are part of the businesses allowed to open (with safety measures) in Phase 2 of Washington’s phased opening approach. Safety is always my number one concern when working with newborns and I am taking ALL of the necessary precautions regarding keeping you and your new one safe from COVID-19.

In Phase 2, Photographers “should photograph outdoors as much as possible.” I feel that this is the safest option for both myself and my clients at this time. The language is vague about indoor/studio photography and should be limited to only one person (so not conducive to a newborn family shoot).

I wanted to share some of the uber-cute OUTDOOR photoshoots I have done with clients and their 1-2 month old babies! These could work just as well for newborns.
