NYC Day 4: The Today Show, Orla Kiely, Moma, and Surprise!

Today was our day of being in the right place at the right time. We thought we would miss our chance to catch The Today Show on the plaza – due to our late night-clubbing:). But despite sleeping in and coming up out of the subway at 8:40 – we walked right up to this:?

Thanks to Jeff who captured our 15 (seconds) of fame on Tivo! Don’t know this guy they’re interviewing but Zach Efron make a brief appearance (cue girls screaming).

Then a visit to Martha Stewart’s favorite ‘notions’ shop: Tinsel Trading Co. Full of ribbons, buttons, and all things glittery/crafty.

Uniqlo? Well, hello. I love you. And especially your Orla Kiely special collection – with Old Navy prices.

Next up – a quick jaunt through the Moma:

 Monet
 Matisse
 Picasso
 Van Gogh
Van Gogh
And a special exhibit by Cindy ShermanšŸ˜•

Which I found hilarious. And from Shannon’s words: “She must have an awesome prop box.”

And speaking of being in the right place at the right time… earlier in the day we grabbed some stand-by tickets for Jimmy thinking it was a long-shot. Well after a nearly 2 hour wait we made it! Probably the most exciting thing we did the whole week. I fell in love. Jimmy is dreamy.

With guests Li-Lo, Rob Riggle, and Elvis Costello. Oh, and we were totally on tv again. This time high-fiving Jimmy. I haven’t washed my hand since…
