Blogging about our trip to NYC has seemed very daunting… we did SO much I haven’t known where to start. It’s been a month since we got back and I’ve finally had time to organize pictures (thank you new iphone and dropbox!) and I think I’m ready to tackle this project.
Monday: We were staying in Brooklyn – so took the subway into the city. This was my first time to new york – and here was our first stop: tourist capital Times Square.
AH-mazing.
Right after noon mass (it was lent after all) how appropriate that we ended up here for lunch:
Once again, well…heaven.
Followed by a trip to FAO Shwarz.
My favorite was this modern playhouse:
And the Barbie Pinball machine – only $25K.
And then a walk through Central Park.
We walked through Central Park to the Museum of Natural History. Snore. (Sorry, Nate) Not my thing. It was actually a beautiful sunny day! I’m sure Central Park is much prettier in the summer/fall but we were lucky it wasn’t pouring as it did later on in the week.
And this is only the first half of Day 1! I’ll be back tomorrow with pix from the second part of our day!
