I have some very exciting news of my latest venture: designing for digital scrapbooking! I’m so excited to be a part of Ninth & Bloom – a brand new Digital Scrapbooking website – with loads of talented designers/scrapbookers!

Digital Scrapbooking, if you aren’t aware, is a huge market and has become very popular. Creating your own scrapbook pages solely on the computer makes it much easier to manipulate, experiment, and share with others. Some even print out their work to store in traditional scrapbooks or make hardbound books with various photo-book printing services.

Here are my two kits so far:

Ninth & Bloom has a “Creative Team” where their “job” is to make layouts using the various kits and designs (how fun would that be???).

Here is the first layout using my “Betty Baker Kit” by the talented Jenn Barrette. It is so fun and satisfying to see your work put to use by someone else!

And finally, a pack of ‘elements’ added to a collaboration project especially for the Grand Opening . Each designer contributed several elements, papers, buttons, etc to make a HUGE kit – that will be FREE with a $10 purchase!
This has been a HUGE learning curve for me – to be honest I don’t think I would’ve agreed to this had I know the time and challenge it would take to learn all of the technical aspects of getting a “kit” prepared, loaded, saved, shared, etc! BUT, I’m SO glad I did. I have at least 2 more kits in the works – just didn’t make the deadline! Stay tuned – I will definitely be adding more!
