Getting to Know Emily Ann’s Picture-Perfect Photography

Capturing your baby’s first weeks or months of life can be a wonderful and fulfilling experience that can have an impact for years down the road. I know how important having a positive experience is when documenting these moments as a mom of two and experienced newborn photographer in Seattle. I want to help every mom and baby get what they need out of their session. That means being attentive and helpful throughout the entire shoot.

While I love all forms of photography, newborn and baby shoots are a true passion of mine. Babies have an infinite amount of love and beauty to give, and I want to capture that in my work. Above all, I want all of my sessions to be positive, easy, and comfortable for everyone involved, and that means paying special attention to your needs, especially if you’re pregnant or have a newborn. You deserve beautiful, irreplaceable memories that are customized to your tastes and needs.

I don’t do unprepared shoots, and as a newborn photographer in Seattle, I will ensure that you will get the most out of your locations and setting. Fun is the keyword here, and I’m here to make sure that your shoots are as engaging and seamless as possible.

Tips From a Maternity Photographer in Seattle

Now, while I absolutely love being a pregnancy photographer in Seattle, I have the experience to know that certain steps need to be taken to make sure that everyone has a good time and can make the most out of their memories. Just a heads-up moms everywhere: I’m going to be laying down some hot tips on how to make sure that you stay safe and comfortable during the shoot.

Some tips for staying comfy and safe during the shoot:

  • Don’t drink too much beforehand: While staying hydrated is important, you may not want any extra stress on your bladder during the photoshoot.
  • Second time I’ll say this: pee before the shoot. Trust me on this!
  • Keep off your feet: If at all possible, try laying down on a provided couch during downtime. Your feet will love you.
  • Yoga: While this isn’t a specific tip for the shoot, doing yoga and other low-impact exercises may reduce joint and muscle pain, assisting in your stamina.

Of course, if you need any specific accommodations at all, please let me know at any time.
