Today I am starting a new series titled “I Love Color!” I have always been a ‘color-girl’ opting for bright clothes, bright walls, bright stuff. Never been much of a pastel or earth-tone fan. And now that I am working on a new career of surface-pattern design I am embracing my love for color and will be sharing some of my favorite color boards  with you.

Most of my inspiration comes from photos, children’s books, my home (and closet), and the world around me.

Craft Room Clutter – inspired by the mess in my office right now.

Rainbow hues – love playing with transparency right now too! Working on a pattern right now with these colors – it may or may not include unicorns.

Yarn Nest – a tangled mess of yarn I found whilst cleaning aforementioned mess.
