Bedroom Refresh!
Tom took the kids camping last weekend so I had the whole (glorious) weekend to myself. First on my agenda was a bedroom-refresh. It had been keeping me awake at night – dreaming of all of the cute ideas I have seen on Pinterest lately – recreated in my room. Here we have the dramatic before and after photos:?
Before: I had been going for a “Paris” theme several years ago.

The only thing new I bought for the room was the yellow pillow shams and ruffle pillow (from Marshall’s). Everything else was estate sale finds that I had either in my “to sell” pile or in other spots in the house. Don’t you just love those little dolls? The empty frames I spray painted white and added different flowers made from this tutorial from scraps I had on hand.
I still have plans on adding some new blinds and perhaps a homemade ruffle curtain!
