NYC Day 3 – Williamsburg

Rainy Wednesday. We decided to head to Williamsburg – a little neighborhood in Brooklyn. Our research said this was the place to go for vintage shopping and cute little shops. It did not disappoint!

Here we ate at a little Parisian Cafe – and had the yummiest lunch.?

A cute window display:

Had to snap a picture – one of Tom’s nicknames. šŸ˜‰

And hold on to your hats ladies…

This shop was actually TWO shops next door to each other. One side was all vintage quilts, fabric, curtains, cowboy boots, scarves, hankies, rugs. The other side was all vintage clothing.

Reminded us of the aunties!

It was a super fun day – despite being SOAKED! My down coat was water-logged and our leather boots took days to dry out.

That night we attended a fundraiser for Church Street School – a school for music and art. Shannon’s college friend Betsy is the development director and this fun event just happened to coincide with our trip!

Another fun filled day!
